Stacks is a learning and collaboration website provided by PMG Charitable Trust, a charitable trust set up to build the financial literacy of young New Zealanders. This policy sets out how personal information is collected, used, secured and disclosed when you use the Stacks website.
Personal information is information about an identifiable individual (a natural person).
Stacks website
When you use the Stacks website, we collect information from you as you move around the site.
Our website uses cookies and most of the information we collect from you will be collected by this way. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your hard drive after visiting our site. Cookies collect data such as browsing information each time you access our site.
We use the information from cookies to understand how people get to and are using our site, and to improve it. You can change your browser settings so that you are notified when you receive a cookie or you can disable them. If you disable cookies, our website may not work as well for you and it may limit some of the functionality.
We also collect information on the computer or network you have accessed the website from to understand the number of new and repeat visitors to the Stacks website.
Modules
We offer financial literacy modules on our website. The modules are made up of text, pictures and/or videos to help you learn about a variety of finance-related topics.
We may ask you to confirm which school or organisation (if any) you found Stacks through or attend. This information is used to help us understand which organisations and areas our information is reaching. We work with those organisations to make sure the information we provide is helpful for you, is delivering the content you need, to support the effectiveness of our programmes and/or to offer additional resources to those organisations. You do not have to tell us your school, the module will work for you without you giving us this information.
Contact Us
There is a contact form on our website. You can use the form to contact us for queries, feedback or assistance. If you fill out the form, we will ask you to provide your name and email address so that we can respond to you. We ask you to provide your location for the reasons discussed above.
Promotions
From time to time, we run promotional campaigns to raise awareness of Stacks and the services and resources we offer.
If you enter one of our promotions, we ask you to provide your name, email address and phone number so that we can contact you if you win a prize. Depending on the prize and the manner it will be delivered to you, we may ask you to provide your physical address.
We use the entrant names to draw the prizes and where applicable use the prize winners’ names and addresses to delivery organisations such as couriers if a prize is being physically delivered. We keep this information until all prizes have been claimed and then destroy the information.
Feedback
If you have indicated on a contact form or promotion entry form that you would like to be contacted for your feedback and opinion about our content and features, we will keep your name and email address so that we can contact you from time to time. This only applies if you have opted in to providing feedback to us. If you wish to be taken off our feedback mailing list, you can let us know at any time.
Disclosure
You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. If you would like to ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected, please contact us at [email protected].
